Buyers Guide
When you purchase vintage, you are not only purchasing a piece of history, you are PRESERVING a piece of history. Just like each of us, each piece at Lilly D. Vintage has a unique spirit, a colorful history and a raw beauty.
All items are hand washed, laundered, or dry cleaned before they are listed. We repair hems, strengthen seams, and replace buttons when needed. We carefully inspect our items and any flaws or signs of wear are notated, photographed, and found in the item descriptions.
The majority of our items are 40+ years old so you are purchasing something that has already experienced a life and there will be normal signs of wear. We “rate” our items in our product descriptions using the following guide:
Condition Guide:
Mint - New, deadstock/still has original tags, no flaws or wear
Excellent – Minimal flaws
Very Good – Minor flaws, some signs of wear
Good - Several flaws, repairs needed
Poor – Damaged, extensive repairs needed or use for study
Every effort is made to disclose noticeable flaws or issues so you can make an informed decision before you purchase. We do our best to describe the colors of our pieces and post the most accurate photos in our listings. Please keep in mind that due to individual monitor color settings, colors may vary slightly in person.
We are happy to provide additional photographs, measurements or additional known history if you would like to contact us prior to purchasing.
